Open Enrollment
Here’s what’s new for 2026 and how to enroll for the benefits that best fit your needs.
What’s New
Medical
When you need care: With both the BCBS PPO and BCBS HSA plans, you’ll pay the full, negotiated rate for covered services such as office visits, until you meet your plan’s deductible. Then, you’ll share costs with Neighborly and pay only 20% of that negotiated rate until you reach your plan’s out-of-pocket maximum.
In the BCBS HSA Plan, your deductible will decrease for 2026, and the plan will start sharing costs with you more quickly. Your out-of-pocket maximum will increase.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
If you’re enrolled in the BCBS HSA Plan and have a Health Savings Account, you can set aside even more money for healthcare costs—up to $4,400 if you’re covering just yourself, or $8,750 if you’re also covering dependents. These limits include contributions from all sources.
Neighborly also contributes to your HSA—$1,000 for individual coverage and $2,000 for dependent coverage.
Note: Employer contributions are prorated and deposited into your HSA each pay period.
Hospital Indemnity
You can now choose Hospital Indemnity coverage, which can help cover unexpected costs when you’re hospitalized. The plan pays you cash for covered hospital admissions and inpatient care. You can use that cash for medical bills or other needs.
Dental
Good news if you don’t need orthodontia coverage: We’re introducing a dental plan option that does not include orthodontia. You’ll pay less in premiums for this option than for the option that includes orthodontia (for dependents for up to age 19).
401(k) Plan
If you’ll be at least 50 years old in 2026, and you’ll earn at least $145,000 in FICA wages in 2025, any catch-up contributions to your 401(k) must be made as after-tax Roth contributions, not pre-tax.
How to Enroll
