Vision
Maintaining healthy eyes and clear vision is essential to your overall health and quality of life. Vision coverage can be elected independently of Medical coverage, and you may choose to cover different dependents under each plan.
How the MetLife Vision Plan Works
Here’s what’s covered, and how you can make the most of your benefits.
Save When You Use an In-Network Provider
You may visit any eye doctor you prefer, but you will save money when you use a participating MetLife provider. MetLife’s network includes thousands of optometrists and opticians nationwide, making it easy to access quality vision care. The Neighborly Vision plan is in the MetLife VSP network.
To locate a participating provider, contact MetLife at 855-638-3931 or visit www.MetLife.com/vision.
When You Need Care
If you need eyeglasses or elective contact lenses and purchase from an in-network provider, you’ll be responsible for any costs that exceed the plan’s allowance.
For out-of-network providers, you’ll be responsible for any costs that exceed the amount the plan will reimburse.
