Dental

You have two choices for dental coverage for 2026: One option that includes orthodontia, and one that does not. You can select the plan that best fits you and your family needs.

With either plan option, taking advantage of preventive care could reduce your need for costly restorative and emergency procedures down the road.

Preventive services, such as routine exams and cleanings, are covered at no cost to you. For basic and major services, you will pay only a small deductible and coinsurance.

How the MetLife Dental PPO Plans Work

Here’s what’s covered, and how you can make the most of your benefits.

Save When You Use an In-network Provider

You may visit any dentist you like, but you’ll maximize your savings when you see an in-network dentist.

  • In-network: You’ll pay a negotiated fee for services.
  • Out-of-network: Your out-of-network provider charges could be higher than MetLife’s usual and customary reimbursement for that service, and you could be balance-billed for the difference.

To find an in-network provider, visit www.MetLife.com/dental and select “Find a Dentist” on the homepage.
