Paid Time Off & Recess

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Paid Time Off refers to a category of hours that can be used for either vacation or sick purposes such as travel, personal matters, illness, or injury for yourself or a family member, inclement weather, and religious observance.

Once you’ve been employed at Neighborly for 60 days, you’ll accrue PTO each pay period. It’s available for use in the following pay period. The rate at which you accrue PTO depends on your role and how long you’ve worked for Neighborly.

Full- and regular part-time associates are eligible for PTO. Temporary, Casual, Intern, and Seasonal Associates are not.

Recess

Everyone deserves a break! Twice a week, you can take 25 minutes (10 extra minutes added to your 15-minute break) to take a walk, go for a short run, do some yoga, or whatever physical activity helps you to relax and re-energize your mind and body.

Partner with your manager to determine the best days and times to schedule your regular Recess breaks.
