Leave of Absence
If you expect to be away from work for more than 3 days due to a medical issue (including pregnancy), military service or training, or need to welcome a child to your family, you can request a leave of absence.
You should request leave at least 30 days in advance of the first day of your requested leave. If it’s an emergency or sudden need, please request the leave on the next business day.
Parental Leave
If you’ve completed at least 6 full months of service with Neighborly in the past 12 months, you may qualify for Parental Bonding PTO.
This benefit pays eligible associates 100% of their regular base pay for up to 80 hours to bond with their newborn, newly adopted or newly placed foster child within the first 6 months after the child’s birth, adoption, or placement. This leave can’t be broken up or used intermittently; the full allotment must be used consecutively.
Associates who work in states with access to state-provided paid family leave insurance benefits in connection with bonding with a newly born, adopted or placed child are not eligible for Parental PTO under this policy.
